Job Description:
Fenix International is seeking a highly motivated, creative and seasoned B2B sales executive to drive global sales for the Fenix suite of renewable energy products. This position will work directly to the CEO to build the Fenix global sales team, accelerate volume sales with early adopter customers and develop leads and business in new verticals and geographies.

This position will require extensive global travel – up to 50% – throughout the USA, Europe, Africa, Asia and Latin America.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales of Fenix products to achieve established sales and revenue targets by pitching and closing deals with senior managers of multinational corporations, international NGOs and local distribution partners.
- Manage and grow sales pipeline, including established relationships and pilots with dozens of leading multinational and local companies across different verticals from mobile telecom to energy to NGOs and humanitarian organizations.
- Develop and cultivate new sales leads and partnerships through various methods including incoming leads, conferences and tradeshows, and cold-calling priority target lists.
- Plan, hire, train and manage a team of Fenix sales representatives.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Five (5) years minimum experience in managing six-figure sales targeting multinational corporations.
- Keen understanding of the renewable energy and/or mobile telecom space in Frontier Markets such as India and Africa.
- Regional expertise in one or more Frontier Markets extremely desirable, including strong cultural competency in Frontier Markets.
- Experience negotiating large and complex contracts, ideally for distribution of hardware products.
- MBA or equivalent experience.
- Ability to customize and clearly communicate the Fenix value proposition, including quantitative and qualitative benefits to the customer and the consumer, for written and verbal presentations.
- Outstanding written and verbal communications skills (English).
Highly Desired:
- Experience recruiting, training and managing sales teams.
- Technical fluency, such as engineering, computer science or other technical degree, or equivalent experience.
- Business level competency of a second language spoken in Frontier Markets (Spanish, French, Hindi, Swahili, etc.)
- Comfort with leading CRM software packages such as Salesforce, Sugar, HighRise, etc.
